Report # 2 - What's NOT Happening?

Many SaaS systems can report on null values.  For example, show me accounts where there is no priority.  That kind of stuff is simple and not very interesting.  The CRM On Demand report below is showing something much more sophisticated, using negative cross object reporting. What does that mean, in this report, three things:

  1. Show me target acconts that do not have an open opportunity associated with them. See Meynard Tools - it does not have an open opportunity!
  2. Show me target accounts with open opportunities that have no future action associated with them.  The opportuntiy at the Daily Bugle has no future plan!
  3. Show me target accounts with open opporutnities and show me the next few tasks that must be done. Xeno technologies and SLP Process fit this pattern.

The red flags allow the manager to quickly scan the list and pick up on the "gaps" or open spots - now that's business intelligence!

Note: In the interest of protecting client data, the content of this report is obviously demonstration data, but you get the gist, right?
